Star Spotting: Katy Perry Steals The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Short of first contact with an extraterrestrial, news that the Cubs won the World Series or some kind of Kanye West Twitter meltdown, it's hard to imagine what could possibly steal the show from the models walking the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

But Katy Perry gave it her best shot just the same. The recently married singer, wearing a yellow PVC minidress with hearts all over it, black thigh-high boots that matched the black PVC... underwear part, sang a medley of tracks at the annual lingerie maker's shindig.

As Katy Perry, looking like an awesome, neon Little Bo Peep sang "Hot N Cold," "Teenage Dream" and "California Gurls," models like Adriana Lima strutted their stuff on the Victoria's Secret catwalk. Not to be outdone, Akon, the night's other entertainment, performed his song "Angel," while Lima walked the runway wearing a $2 million bra.

Though remakes tend to be disappointing, in the spirit of nostalgia (that is, after all, the major message of the movie) and pop culture, we’ve decided a reimagining of the time-travel treasure is in order. In fact, if we start casting this situation now, we’ll be pretty much exactly on schedule for an Oct. 26, 2015 opening date--the exact date Marty travels to in the movie’s sequel. AND we’ve (in our heads) cast the perfect Millennial Marty McFly: Justin Bieber! We know, this is heavy. Stay with us.

OK, Justin Bieber was made for this role. First off, just like Michael J. Fox, who plays the main character in the original version, he’s Canadian. He also kinda-sorta looks like a teenaged MJF (who was 24, BTW, when he was cast in the part). Justin Bieber’s an experienced actor, thanks to his experience shooting the soon-to-be-released 3-D movie Never Say Never. And we don’t have to tell YOU guys that he’s musically adaptable enough to sing and play a mean “Johnny B. Good.”

We’re pretty sure this is Justin Bieber's thespian “density.” In the slightly paraphrased sage words of George McFly, he needs to get his “damn hands” ON this role.

Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus -- parents of Miley Cyrus and four other Cyrus kids -- have filed for divorce.

PEOPLE broke the news of the split, as the couple plans on going their separate ways after 17 years of marriage. In a statement to the magazine, the couple said it is currently "a very difficult time for our family," and that they're "trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."

Taylor Swift has come far from the days of Taylor + Taylor (Lautner, obviously) and Joe Jonas. Lately, the 20-year-old country-pop phenom just LOVES to kick it with an older dude! And it's speculated that Taylor Swift's moved on from notorious serial dater/chronic TMI-er John Mayer. It's been reported that Taylor "Fearless"-ly called John Mayer out on his "dark and twisted games" on her new song, "Dear John." And to prove that John Mayer is SO earlier-this-year, Taylor Swift has been seen spending time with steamy Jake Gyllenhaal, who's 9 years older than her. If the rumors are true, we think this liaison is an upgrade worthy of a PARADE. Prince of Persia's Jake Gyllenhaal is mind-bogglingly beautiful.

Multiple sources spotted Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal out in New York City, and Taylor even brought him to the Saturday Night Live set where her bestie Emma Stone was hosting last weekend. The pair were also reportedly seen walking around Brooklyn together, and they just wentapple-picking together. Justin Bieber And Willow Smith Have An Epic Dance-off!

In a very Step Up (2 or even better, 3-D) move, Justin Bieber and Willow Smith engaged in an epic dance-off on stage during Justin's tour in Los Angeles. Each pop sensation already has their own hair situation for which he/she is famous--Bieber for his brushed-forward bangs and Willow for her wildly popular hair-whipping. Since that's already established, naturally, they had to then figure out who is best dancer between them. So, much to the delight of squealing fans at the Staples Center, Justin Bieber and Willow challenged each other to friendly dance battle using rap group Cali Swag District's "Teach Me How to Dougie."

After watching the video, we're convinced that both the "Whip My Hair" singer AND the "Baby" crooner could pretty much teach a class on how to Dougie, complete with a syllabus. In fact, they'll teach you how to dougie and give YOU a pop-quiz involving critical thinking questions.

I’m always confused whenever I see Katy Perry or Zooey Deschanel. It’s really kinda crazy how much these doe-eyed ladies look alike and for awhile I thought they were the same person. Then I saw this picture.OK. So, now I’m convinced that they are different people but I still get them mixed up.

Eurocopter unveils new-look helicopter

European group Eurocopter showed off a revolutionary winged helicopter on Monday, in a bid to counter U.S. rival Sikorsky's efforts to break the speed barrier by rewriting rotorcraft design rules.
The X3 hybrid helicraft,which combines forward-facing propellers astride two short aircraft wings with the familiar overhead rotor blades seen on any normal helicopter was unveiled following months of secrecy.
The half-plane, half-helicopter design aims to overcome chronic obstacles to high-speed helicopter flight by combining the advantages of fixed-wing aircraft with those of a standard helicopter, allowing it to fly at 220 knots or 400 km/hour. Isn't that cool?

Gloria Stuart - the longtime Hollywood veteran popularly recognized for her role as the elder Rose in James Cameron's "Titanic" - has died, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

RIM unveils a tablet: the BlackBerry PlayBook

Looks like all those rumors about BlackBerry maker Research in Motion coming out with its own tablet were true — well, everything except for the name.
Instead of the "BlackPad" (ugh), RIM is calling its 7-inch, camera-packing tablet the BlackBerry PlayBook. CEO Mike Lazaridis showed off the long-rumored device during the keynote of RIM’s BlackBerry developer conference in San Francisco on Monday.
